The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) is happy to advise that Mauritian authorities have expressed confidence in the national vaccination campaign that is on track to achieve herd immunity within the prescribed period. This has been set as a precondition for the restart of tourism.

Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels took the first step in an exciting and reassuring journey with the start of the Mauritius anti-COVID19 vaccination awareness campaign from 26 January 2021. Trou aux Biches Beachcomber, Mauricia Beachcomber, Victoria Beachcomber and Canonnier Beachcomber staff and management teams volunteered to receive their first vaccination dose, along with health professionals, airline staff and other key frontline workers.
