Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Queensly Periatamby as Hotel Manager of Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury. She is currently the Executive Assistant Manager at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa and will take up her new position alongside Isabelle Bouvier, the General Manager of this iconic landmark on 1 July 2022. With her appointment, this flagship of luxury hospitality in Mauritius will now be managed by a women’s pair.

Marie Paule Azie and Hesta Chooraman, pastry chefs at Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, combined their talents with a touch of audacity to design the signature cake for the Group’s collection of hotels. The duo won the Beachcomber Signature Cake Competition and will create this unique and exclusive pastry made with honey harvested from the hives in Beachcomber hotels’ gardens.

Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels has marked World Bee Day on Friday, 20 May 2022 with the launch of its Bee Tour. This fun environmental learning experience is a guided tour of the beehives placed in all Beachcomber hotels, with the aim of raising awareness of the vital role of bees in biodiversity among guests and Artisans. In line with the Group’s Bee Sustainable programme, this Bee Tour was officially launched at Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa.
