Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels has announced the appointment of Franck Lopez as Chief Operations Officer, effective 1 May 2026. He succeeds JeanLouis Pismont, who has been appointed Chief Officer – International Hotel Operations. In this capacity, Jean-Louis will lead the Group’s strategic international projects until his retirement in November.
A graduate of Vatel, Franck Lopez has over 30 years’ experience in the international hospitality industry. He has held senior leadership positions with brands such as Mövenpick, InterContinental and Banyan Tree, where he served as General Manager, Cluster General Manager, then Area General Manager, assuming strategic and operational responsibility for several properties. He also knows Mauritius well, having managed two resorts on the island from 2011 to 2016.
Having been integral part of Beachcomber for 28 years, Jean Louis Pismont embodies operational excellence and the Group’s values. He has led several iconic resorts, making a lasting contribution to the development of a culture of excellence. Known for his rigour and high standards, as well as his close rapport with teams, he has successfully nurtured talent throughout his career. In his new role, he will continue his commitment by supporting the Group’s international expansion projects.
