With pride and unanimous recognition, Executive Chef William Girard has joined the highly exclusive circle of the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France. This distinction celebrates his talent, expertise, and commitment to promoting French cuisine worldwide. With his extensive experience and technical mastery, William Girard will be officially inducted during the next World Congress, to be held in Seoul, South Korea, from 15 to 17 March 2026.

“Gastronomy lies at the heart of our house and is an integral part of our DNA. We have always sought to take our guests on a culinary journey with exceptional experiences, driven by the talent and creativity of our teams,” says Patrice Landrein, General Manager of Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury. “The induction of Executive Chef William Girard into this prestigious circle is the finest illustration of that commitment.”

Founded in 1951, the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France association has worked for over 70 years to preserve and enhance the brilliance of French culinary art on the world stage. Guided by a sustainable and environmentally conscious approach, the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France elevate  French gastronomy to its highest level, working closely with farmers and artisans, in harmony with the treasures of our terroirs.

Chef Girard has the honour of being mentored by Chef Gérard Sallé, an emblematic figure of haute cuisine, who supports this nomination. A chef with a remarkable career, Gérard Sallé has left his mark on prestigious French tables and continues his mission of transmission today, sharing his expertise and culinary vision around the globe.

“We look forward to celebrating this achievement at an exceptional dinner alongside the esteemed Chef Gérard Sallé” adds Mr Landrein. This unique event will take place on Thursday 16 October 2025, during the hotel’s 40th anniversary week. Chefs William Girard and Gérard Sallé will together host a fourhand dinner celebrating the excellence and creativity of French cuisine.
