Art and hospitality share a common calling: to stir emotion. On Tuesday, 15 April 2025, Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury unveiled its new art gallery during the resort’s signature Sundowner Cocktail, in the company of its guests. The event marked the beginning of a captivating artistic journey, with a curated selection of works by 13 internationally acclaimed artists – a cultural immersion as vibrant as it is diverse.
The gallery, which blends harmoniously with the iconic architecture of the Royal Palm, is the ninth in the Adamah Fine Arts network in Mauritius. The inaugural collection features bronze, Raku and resin sculptures, alongside contemporary paintings – all carefully selected to inspire, engage, and move. This partnership with Adamah Fine Arts – renowned for showcasing leading international artists such as Mariela Garibay, Jorge Marin, and Mylène Mai, while also championing Mauritian creativity – reflects Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels’ deep-rooted commitment to promoting art in all its forms. “The opening of this gallery reflects our desire to celebrate art in all its depth and authenticity”, says Patrice Landrein, General Manager of Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury. “Through this collaboration with Adamah Fine Arts, we further reaffirm our commitment to supporting art – both local and global – and making it an integral part of our guests’ experience”.
With this new cultural space, Royal Palm joins other welcoming establishments on the island featuring art galleries in partnership with Adamah Fine Arts. The gallery will remain open year-round with fresh works appearing regularly, offering something new to discover on each visit. Guests who find pieces they connect with can take them home or arrange convenient delivery through Adamah Fine Arts.
