ROYAL PALM MARRAKECH – PRESS RELEASE – 15 OCTOBER 2013

Marrakech has long been the playground of Europe’s rich and glamorous and into this illustrious environment ventures the Royal Palm Marrakech with 135 suites and villas constructed with a strong emphasis on environmental protection and preservation.

Situated a mere 12 kilometres from the ‘Red City’ as it is known, Royal Palm Morocco looks out onto the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas Mountains.  Set in groves of palms and olive trees the luxury accommodation emphasises space and harmony.  The 2000 square metre pool attracts guests to cool off on warm days, while the sports centre offers the services of personal coaches to sustain fitness.

The scenic 18-hole golf course spreads out in front of the hotel. A total of 89 of private villas in nine categories are for sale. Villa dwellers are welcome to use the facilities of the hotel.

Four fine dining restaurants are each set in different locations offering a variety of food styles.  Ai Ain specialises in Moroccan food, while Le Palm concentrates on gastronomic specialties. La Caravane caters for international appetites while L’Olivier is located at the main pool catering for light meals and lunch. The Bar is open from 10 am to midnight and musical entertainment is a draw card in the evenings.

The Spa by Clarins is a haven of well-being with areas reserved for women only or unisex.  It also houses a beauty parlour, barber and hairdresser.

A Conference Centre is equipped with the most modern equipment and a smaller meeting room for limited numbers is also available.

Beachcomber Tours South Africa will offer room only and bed and breakfast rates. Instead of offering the usual rate for accommodation with breakfast and dinner, it was decided that because of the hotel’s proximity to the main hub of Marrakech the attractions of dining out may be preferred.  But guests staying in will simply have their dinner added to their bill.

Rates and final product information are being fine-tuned and will be released shortly to welcome guests.
