Accommodation at Royal Palm Beachcomber is exclusively in spacious and opulent suites a short stroll from the pristine beach. Impeccably decorated with only the finest furniture and fabrics and hand selected ornaments, the suites exude a stately ambience of pure luxury and sophistication.
The 63 square metre beach-facing Junior suites are built in a staggered formation to offer maximum privacy. The suites offer a bedroom and sitting area with bathroom en suite.
Ocean suites are located on all floors and face the lush tropical gardens and seascape beyond. The interior of the suite plus the furnished terrace offer a combined area of 125 square metres of living space. The bedroom is separate to that of the lounge, which consists of a sitting area and a writing desk. A large bathroom en suite completes the facilities.
Located on the first floor, yet still enjoying direct access to the gardens and beach beyond, the Tropical suites offer 85 square metres of living space. The bedroom and lounge area are open plan and open onto a furnished balcony; the en-suite bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom area.
All Palm suites enjoy a ground floor location leading out to the gardens and the beach beyond. The interior and furnished terrace offer a total of 106 square metres of living space. The bedroom and lounge area are open plan with the large bathroom en suite. Three suites include a children’s room to the rear of the suite with an en-suite bathroom.
Ample living space is available both in the lounge of the Romance Suite and on the furnished terrace or balcony. The interior consists of a bedroom with separate lounge and a large en-suite bathroom. The total area measures 128 square metres. This unique category has special inclusions such as flower petals, candles and champagne upon arrival and a massage per adult.
Privacy is the watchword of the single Penthouse which is located on the second floor. The bedroom, with bathroom en suite, is separate to that of the lounge and both rooms open onto a furnished balcony. Total area of the Penthouse is 196 square metres.
The three Presidential suites are located on the top floor and these signature suites offer two bedrooms which each lead into a central lounge area with a furnished wraparound balcony beyond. En-suite bathrooms lead off each bedroom. The total area of each suite is 264 square metres.
The ultimate in luxury, this split-level suite measures 365 square metres. A master bedroom with en-suite bathroom is at the top of the winding staircase. The second bedroom, midway up the staircase, has an en-suite bathroom and hammam. The lounge and dining area is on the ground floor of the suite with a furnished terrace, gazebo, splash pool and garden beyond.
Sweeping ocean views complement the fine whiskeys, cognacs and French champagne available at Royal Palm’s bar. Enjoy elegant entertainment here each evening.
Resembling a desert island oasis, the bar is located at the edge of the beach on a wooden deck under the cool shade of a large badamier tree. In the dining area, light and classic lunch dishes are served daily, as well as intimate al fresco dinners on a seasonal basis. Satisfy your appetite without compromising your view of the most perfect beach on the island.
Royal Palm’s signature restaurant is located on a terrace that overlooks the magical indigo hues of the sea below. La Goélette offers a choice of gourmet dishes that are prepared with flair by world-class chefs. Half-board guests receive a credit each evening towards the courses which are selected.

William Girard took up his position in charge of the kitchens at Royal Palm Beachcomber on 01 February 2022. He has 25 years of industry experience with an extensive background in Michelin-starred restaurants, working alongside great names of French cuisine. Chef Girard was trained at the Biarritz Hotel School and has run the kitchens of some of the world’s most prestigious hotels and restaurants, including Le Barthelemy Hotel in Saint Barthelemy, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg in France, Burj Al Arab in Dubai, Sofitel Bangkok Silom in Thailand as well as the Michelin-starred restaurants, Le Taillevent and L’Elysée, in Paris with Chef Alain Solivérès. He worked for many years with the Michelin-starred chefs, Yannick Alléno and Guy Martin on the opening and pre-opening of various renowned hotels. As a winner of the International Accor Cooking Contest in 2000, he brings his extraordinary passion and experience of food and lifestyle to Royal Palm Beachcomber. Local produce such as lobster, camaron (freshwater prawns) and fish from the Indian Ocean take centre stage. He blends contemporary French cuisine with the fresh and subtle flavours and nuances of the Mauritian terroir to La Goélette and Restaurant La Plage.
Taste the Art of Beautiful at our eight resorts’ 32 restaurants, each in a unique location and offering various menus and cuisine types. With different restaurant atmospheres and settings, this ‘dine around’ culinary experience is an enticing option. Guests at Dinarobin Beachcomber, Paradis Beachcomber and Trou aux Biches Beachcomber may dine at all four of the Beachcomber 4-star properties at no supplement (dining at Royal Palm Beachcomber is at an extra charge). Our 4-star guests may also dine at any of our 5-star resorts, at the applicable charge. Royal Palm Beachcomber guests may dine on a complimentary basis at any of the Beachcomber resorts. Reservations are to be made whilst in the resort, subject to availability.
While dress is casual during the day, evenings call for elegant evening dress with collared shirts, long trousers and closed shoes for gentlemen.

This luxury hotel attracts a unique clientele who expect the utmost in quality and service. With a staff ratio of four professional staff members per suite, excellent yet discreet service is guaranteed.
Further personalised service offers guests the choice of dining in suite for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. A nominal tray charge is levied for room service orders and dinner is served with the requested intervals between courses.
Even on the beach, attentive staff serve you at your lounger which is allocated according to suite number. Return from a refreshing dip and a fresh beach towel on your newly made-up lounger awaits. Additional beach service includes the offer of fruit skewers and sorbets, as well as sunglass cleaning and a choice of daily newspapers.
You can choose to arrive at Royal Palm in one of the fleet of BMWs. A luxury 4-wheel drive vehicle is also available. But the ultimate is to make the journey from the airport by helicopter and enjoy the magnificent view en route. Landing is permitted until mid-afternoon.
