We would like to say thank you to all for making our first trip to Mauritius the very best. Mauritius is beautiful. We celebrated our 10th wedding Anniversary on the 1st of March, it was a memorable one. Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber will always have a special place in our hearts. It is truly paradise. Shandrani Beachcomber's scenery was absolutely breathtaking, picture perfect water and environment. Stunning surroundings and a fantastic stay. We enjoyed our time there tremendously and spent a lot time in the swimming zones in front of the main pool. Great restaurants and plenty to choose from.
Check in to the hotel was a breeze. Easy, fast, fun and very warm and welcoming.
Sea facing rooms are simple and cozy. We received a bottle of champagne and a personalized note from the hotel congratulating us on our wedding and to thank us for choosing them for our honeymoon destination.
Breakfast was always a winner. super tasty and enough to kick the day off. Lunch buffet at the main restaurant was great. Teak Elephant was our favourite by far.
We snorkelled everyday, it was so much fun. The glass bottom boat was a real highlight, loads of water activities, however they no longer do lasers sail boats.
All in all, it was a great once in a lifetime experience.

I'd like to compliment Riad from Canonnier Beachcomber, for all the assistance and care he took cleaning my room during my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday - one of the best ever - and looked forward to coming back to my room in the late afternoons / early evenings, to see what towel animal or flower arrangement Riad had left for me. He was always so eager to please, respectful and willing to assist.

We had the most amazing, mind-blowing vacation at Canonnier. We made use of most of the activities. The Cannonier was absolutely amazing - the staff, food, service - everything was just so perfect.
We have decided to do another Mauritius trip next year September again, and my son and his family will be joining us.
We were so sad to leave the island, and wished we had a few more days to stay.

Shandrani Beachcomber Teak - phenomenal Thai restaurant for adults & kids 12+. It's a set menu but they cater for allergies which was fantastic, different menus every night. Sirius - a la carte menu, a nice selection. Grand Port - main buffet restaurant. Great offering. We only watched one evening show on our last night. It was amazing! A magician and aerial acrobatics, so much more than just dancers. We will definitely stay for the evening shows next time. We had a family apartment. Housekeeping was also top notch. There is a mashie golf course. The beach was amazing. Lots of people snorkeled. The wild beach looked AMAZING. It is pristine. The Beachcomber shop was bigger and stocked the most amazing clothing, a big selection of everything. Patrick from the beach service at the main pool stood out. Victoria is still our favourite. It suits our personalities. We will probably do a split stay with Shandrani again as the 7-minute drive to the airport cannot be overlooked!
