It is a relatively short-haul destination, less than four hours flying time from Johannesburg and five hours from Cape Town. It is served by flights from Johannesburg on seven days of the week, and two flights directly from Cape Town and one from Durban. Beachcomber Hotels in Mauritius are well equipped to handle conference and incentive business. Seven of the eight resort properties are ideal for group travel, and range from four-star hotels such as Le Mauricia and Le Canonnier and the four-star superior Le Victoria, to the five-star Shandrani and five-star plus, Trou aux Biches, Paradis and Dinarobin.
Each hotel in the Beachcomber group is proud of its individuality. A common thread of superior quality, high standards of service and personal attention runs through all the hotels.
Hotel personalities differ. The young, fun atmosphere of Le Mauricia is geared for active-style holidays, while those requiring a quieter environment, may choose Shandrani.
Le Canonnier provides the ideal setting for group gatherings. Close to Grand Bay, it offers great accommodation and facilities.
Sports-orientated groups will revel in Shandrani and Paradis. Smaller groups may choose Dinarobin where they may use the conference room at Paradis. Those who need to keep in touch with the island’s business hub will select Le Victoria. A state of the art resort with world class accommodation and facilities, Trou aux Biches appeals to upmarket groups.
Function management is superb with many different themes for speciality evenings, picnics and beach parties, surprise venues and all the extravaganza you could wish for. |

Requirements to qualify for group
rates:
- Minimum number of clients required: 15 full paying adults
- Minimum duration of stay: Varies according to season.
- Every 16th adult will be free on a twin sharing basis. Frees on the land portion are limited to four and a maximum of four are allowed on the air tickets.
- Inspection visit for 2 singles for 3 nights will be arranged. This is prepaid prior to departure and, once the group has travelled, the accommodation will be refunded in full.
