Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Queensly Periatamby as Hotel Manager of Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury. She is currently the Executive Assistant Manager at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa and will take up her new position alongside Isabelle Bouvier, the General Manager of this iconic landmark on 1 July 2022. With her appointment, this flagship of luxury hospitality in Mauritius will now be managed by a women’s pair.

Queensly started her hospitality career as a receptionist in 1998. Driven by a real passion for the industry and the teams and guests she worked with, she made her way up from the reception desk to various positions in her 23-year career, including Guest Relations Officer, Guest Relations Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Office Manager and Rooms Division Manager. She joined Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels in July 2014 as Rooms Division Manager at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber and was appointed Executive Assistant Manager four years later. In this role, she is in charge of the front office, guest relations and accommodation departments, among others.

As she moves onto a new stage in her professional life, Queensly brings to Royal Palm her vast experience, valuable human qualities, and deep attachment to the Beachcomber Group’s values. “I embrace my new responsibilities as a challenge and a reward for all the hard work I have put in over the past 23 years. I learned everything on the job, step by step, by working with guests, hotel staff and the various hotel managers I have had the chance to work with. I would like to thank the Beachcomber Group’s management for their trust and Trou aux Biches Beachcomber’s General Manager, Stephan Lagesse for his encouragement and support,” she says.

The significance of this appointment is twofold for Royal Palm. For the first time, the flagship of hospitality in Mauritius and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World will be led by two women. “We are delighted to have Isabelle Bouvier and Queensly Periatamby in charge of Royal Palm. We are confident that they will bring their expertise to deliver a unique experience to all our guests,” says Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels’ CEO, Gilbert Espitalier-Noël.
