Beachcomber Tours offers flexible terms and conditions should clients be prevented from travelling as planned due to border closures being implemented by government/s due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We quote on packages that include land and air arrangements, however, should clients wish to go ahead and book their travel arrangements, we recommend that they reserve the land portion of their package only while we await clarity from the Mauritian Government regarding their official border re-opening date for tourists.
Beachcomber will waive cancellation fees in the event that governmental rulings prevent clients from travelling as planned. Should a travel ban be instated that prevents clients from travelling, the land arrangements portion will be 100% refundable where clients do not wish to amend their dates. The refund will, however, exclude any fee or service charges a travel agent may charge. Airlines are not offering this option, but they do permit amending of air tickets to alternative travel dates. For this reason we suggest that only land arrangements are booked for the time being. In addition, our flexible booking terms mean that clients can bank the saving without having to worry about cancellation fees or monies being payable until such time as Mauritius’s border re-opening date is announced. It’s just another way Beachcomber is making it easier for clients to secure the holiday of their dreams at no risk.
This flexible land policy applies to new bookings placed as from 15 June 2020. It is important to note that airfares included in our quotes are subject to availability at the time of booking and may change based on availability at the time the actual air portion is booked.
