Beachcomber staff receive first vaccine doses

Posted in News on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 by The Beachcomber Tours Correspondent

Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels took the first step in an exciting and reassuring journey with the start of the Mauritius anti-COVID19 vaccination awareness campaign from 26 January 2021. Trou aux Biches Beachcomber, Mauricia Beachcomber, Victoria Beachcomber and Canonnier Beachcomber staff and management teams volunteered to receive their first vaccination dose, along with health professionals, airline staff and other key frontline workers.

Beachcomber believes this campaign will help revive the tourism industry, ensuring that as soon as the Mauritius borders are reopened, Beachcomber will be ready to safely welcome holidaymakers.

For CEO, Gilbert Espitalier-Noël and his team, "I am very happy to have made the vaccine this morning, everything is very well organized. This vaccine campaign is a huge step towards the recovery of our industry."

As a pioneer and leader in the Mauritian hospitality industry, Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is committed to providing its Artisans and Guests with a safe and healthy environment.

The WTTC has recognised Mauritius as a safe destination and with all Beachcomber resorts carrying the SAFE PLACE label in addition to our relaxed Ts&Cs, you can book and travel with peace of mind.

We hope that this is yet another step towards speeding up the reopening of our borders so that we can safely welcome guests and kickstart our tourism industry very soon.
